Monthly Coffee Series with Raul Rodas
This month’s coffee
Santa Felisa
A natural Geisha from Finca Santa Felisa and Raul Rodas.
Strawberry, blueberry, and tropical fruit over a plum-floral sweetness, with a body that is dense, round, and silk-textured.
Founded in 1904 in the Acatenango Valley, Santa Felisa is a generational project led today by Anabella and Antonio Meneses.
One of the first farms to introduce Gesha to Guatemala, it operates at the intersection of agronomy, ecology, and long-term community investment. Anabella - a Q-grader and agronomist - has spent years refining fermentation and drying protocols, work that earned international recognition with the 2017 Cup of Excellence.

Meet your roaster
We are so excited to collaborate with World Barista Champion, Raul Rodas, to custom roast your coffee for this series.
Raul is a roaster, green buyer, and owner of Paradigma Roasters in Guatemala. His approach to coffee is unique, involving regional small lot producers directly in the design, cultivation, and processing of each coffee.
His coffees push beyond the full-bodied, chocolate character that has traditionally marked washed processed Guatemalan coffees and explore a fresh range of flavor profiles through natural process and fermentation.
Raul won the World Barista Championship in Vienna in 2012 and a three-time winner of Guatemala’s Brewer’s Cup.
Why roast at origin?
Fijo collaborates with roasters at origin to craft coffee in small batches.
We feature coffees that are uniquely reflective of each region. Without middlemen, this model ensures 3x more profits stay with coffee growing countries.
We’re building a more equitable model that focuses on the profits and talents at origin.
